Your Hair Regrowth Journey Starts Here!

Congratulations on taking the first step towards healthier, fuller hair. At Wave, we create personalised, evidence-based treatments designed specifically for women experiencing hair thinning and Female Pattern Hair Loss (FPHL). This guide will walk you through how to use your treatment, what to expect, and how to get the best results.

1. How to Use Your Daily Solution

When to Apply:

  • Once daily (or as prescribed).
  • Apply to a dry scalp for best absorption.
  • Wait at least 4 hours before washing your hair.

Application Steps:

  • Vigorously shake the bottle before use.
  • Fill the dropper with 1 mL of solution (or use the amount directed).
  • Part your hair and apply directly to thinning areas.
  • Gently massage into the scalp with your fingertips.
  • Allow to fully dry before styling.
  • Wash hands immediately after use.

🚨 Important Notes:

  • Avoid getting the product on your face, forehead, or hands to prevent unwanted hair growth.
  • If irritation occurs, reduce application frequency and consult our team.
  • If you forget to use your solution, apply it as soon as you remember and then continue as before. Do not apply a double dose to make up for a forgotten dose.

2. What to Expect: The Hair Growth Timeline

🗓 Months 1-3: Initial Shedding (this is normal):

  • Shedding is temporary and expected as weak hairs make way for new, stronger growth.
  • We understand that this may be distressing so please reach out to us if you would like to discuss this.

🗓 Months 3-6: Early Growth:

  • Fine baby hairs begin to appear.
  • Shedding stabilises, and hair may feel thicker.

🗓 Months 6-12: Visible Improvements:

  • Noticeable increase in density and coverage.
  • Hair appears stronger and healthier.

🚀 Beyond 12 Months: Maintaining Results:

  • Hair loss is progressive-continued use is key to keeping your results.
  • Stopping treatment may lead to gradual hair loss returning.

3. Common Questions & Answers

  • Q: Will I experience shedding?
A: Maybe. Not everyone experiences initial shedding, but if you do, it’s temporary and necessary as older hairs make way for new ones. Shedding typically stops within 6-12 weeks. We understand that this can be quite distressing - please reach out to us if you are concerned.
  • Q: Can I use my treatment with other hair products?
    A:
Yes! You can style, colour, and wash your hair as normal but avoid using oils directly before or after application, as they can block absorption.
  • Q: What if I miss a day?
    A:
No problem-just continue as usual the next day. Do not double the dose to “catch up.”
  • Q: Can I stop using my treatment once my hair looks better?
    A:
No-stopping treatment will reverse progress over time. Hair loss treatments only work while you use them. Think of it like brushing your teeth-maintenance is key!
  • Q: How do I know if my treatment is working?
    A:
Take monthly progress photos in the same lighting. Look for less shedding, new baby hairs, and thicker texture.

✅ Use Ketoconazole shampoo (Nizoral) 1-2x per week to reduce inflammation and support scalp health.

✅ Massage your scalp daily. This boosts circulation and supports hair follicles.

✅ Eat a nutrient rich diet. Iron, zinc, vitamin D, and protein play a key role in hair growth.
